Position: Disability Support Worker

Organization: Truecare Disability Services

**Job Description**:
We are seeking for a mature/ experienced Support Workers

a Female support workers to join our team, to support clients with domestic tasks and community access.

Location: South of the river

Shifts: morning and afternoon shift including early morning shifts

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality, personalized support to clients.
- Assist clients with domestics/daily living activities and community access,
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- creative, initiative and can motivate clients to engage in the community and activities of interest.

Essential Requirements:

- Experience: Experience at least 2 years in supporting people with disabilities with complex support needs and good understanding about healthy relationship and family domestic voilance
- Availability: Must be available for morning and afternoon shifts (Mondays to Fridays)
- Qualifications: Minimum Certificate 3 in disability support or related discipline.
- Attributes: Confident, Compassionate, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities.
- Personal Qualities: Creative, motivated, enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a calm, focused approach to problem-solving.
- Approach: Understand the choice and control of people with disabilities, person-centred approach, and familiar with NDIS.
- Consistency: Understand the importance of consistency and the ability to follow the individual’s support plan.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in case noting and report writing.

Licenses and Certificates:

- Full Australian Driving License and reliable car with comprehensive insurance cover.
- NDIS worker screening certificate.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- Double vaccinated against COVID-19 and current Flu vaccination.
- National police check
- Working with Children Check
