Advisor Hse V

The purpose of the HSE Advisor position is to provide high quality, innovative internal and external customer focused health, safety, and environment support across F MS Australia and New Zealand daily operations, projects and activities in order to foster and develop a high performing organizational HSE culture.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Health and safety management system
- Health and safety management plan
- Health and safety performance reporting
- Health and safety incident and hazards
- Health surveillance and monitoring
- Health and safety internal audits and workplace inspections
- Health and safety training and inductions
- Risk Management end to end
- Incident, hazard and risk register management
- Health and Safety consultation and Health and Safety Representatives
- Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary

**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**

**Health and Safety Management System**
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and the effective maintenance of the health safety and environmental management system
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certification and implementation across business functions
- Undertake assessments of the health and safety management system compliance
- Develop, implement, maintain, and review health and safety guidelines, registers, plans and tools
- Responsible for the management of Workcover claims and maintain an effective Return to Work program
- Support the achievement of relevant strategic objectives and associated targets

**Specialist Health and Safety Advice**
- Provision of advice to the NOV FMS Australia management team to undertake their respective responsibilities in the management of their health, safety, and environment legislative obligations
- Provision of specialist advice regarding risk management
- Provision of specialist advice regarding management of occupational health management including surveillance and monitoring
- Provision of specialist advice regarding management of occupational safety
- Provision of specialist advice regarding contractor health and safety management
- Provision of specialist advice regarding emergency preparedness and response
- Provision of specialist advice regarding project health and safety management
- Review of health and safety management plans and documentation (FMS, Contractor, Project)

**Occupational Health and Safety Reporting**
- Generate health and safety performance reporting both scheduled and ad hoc

**Occupational Health and Safety Incident Management**
- Provision of advice regarding the management of health, safety, and environment incidents, including external notification to regulators, incident investigation and root cause analysis utilizing Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM)
- Undertake analysis of health, safety and environment management and provision of appropriate reporting to Australia and New Zealand management team.

**Auditing and Workplace Inspections**
- Maintain the Internal Audit Schedule as per the specific requirements of the relevant HSE standards
- Undertake effective HSE internal Audits and workplace inspections
- In conjunction with the relevant departmental managers ensure the relevant non conformances and the corresponding corrective actions are effectively addressed and closed in a timely manner

**Occupational Health and Safety Consultation**
- Provision of advice regarding the development and management of health and safety Consultative framework
- Provision of advice to Health and Safety Representatives

**Occupational Health and Safety Training**
- Identify the relevant health, safety and environment training requirements for the business unit(s)
- Develop and deliver health and safety training to the NOV FMS management team and employees
- Maintain the HSE Training Matrix

Contribute to the development, maintenance and delivery of health and safety induction programs including employee, manager, contractor health and safety inductions in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
