Miranda, Australia Sydney Maxillofacial Surgery Full time

We are a Private Specialist referral based practice, based in Sydney CBD and Miranda. We have a unique opening for a motivated, experienced Medical Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team. *_The successful applicant must be available to work at both room locations. Dental Assisting Certificate (3 or 4) preferred*_

The position on offer:

- Part time, 3 days per week (flexible day options), plus occasional leave cover across our two locations (Miranda and the City)
- Flexible start and finish times but predominantly 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Remuneration $28 to $35 per hour depending on experience

**Key Responsibilities**
- Dental assisting for oral surgery procedures
- Coordination of patients and patient care
- Management of instrument care and sterilising
- Management and ordering of clinical supplies
- Management of hospitals and other medical specialists
- Coordination of patient appointments and calendar management
- Preparation of surgical bookings and health fund checks
- Patient invoicing and receipting
- General office and clerical duties as required

The successful applicant will be:

- Dental Assistant Certification (3 or 4) - preferred
- Caring, motivated, punctual and reliable
- Well presented with great people skills
- Have excellent attention to detail yet capable of multitasking
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in a team
- Have a calm polite demeanour
- Have fluency in written and verbal English
- Have a COVID 19 vaccination certificate

In Miranda our office is adjacent to the train station and across the road from Westfield. In Sydney CBD, we are close to Town Hall and Museum Train Stations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical administration: 2 years (required)
- Dental assisting: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- High level of English (written and verbal communication) (required)

- Australia (required)
