Our client is a multi-discipline engineering company that supports mineral process facilities, mine sites and ports Australia wide.
**Your new role**
We are seeking an experienced Autodesk Plant 3D Designer with a strong background in plant design and modelling.
Throughout your role you will:
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create detailed plant layouts, piping designs, and equipment models using Autodesk Plant 3D.- Develop 3D models, and drawings for process plants, refineries, and other industrial facilities.- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise related to plant design.- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines.- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and bill of materials.
- Review and revise existing designs as needed
**What you'll need to succeed**- Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D software.- Strong understanding of plant design principles, including piping, equipment, and instrumentation.- Experience with 3D modelling, isometrics, and orthographic drawings.- Knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, API, etc.).- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
