Fitstop Victoria Park (WA) requires a full time Fitness Centre Manager with at least 3 years of relevant experience. We are offering $70,000 + super for this full-time position. Fitstop is a group functional fitness facility rapidly expanding with over 99 open locations across Australia. We have a result driven, lifestyle-inspired approach to health and fitness. Our trainers provide a hands-on approach to ensure our members are continually progressing and striving to reach their full potential. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for health and fitness and wants to make a positive impact on peoples’ lives.

Your overall responsibility will be managing and coordinating the operational aspects of the business, with a strong focus on member growth and retention by building and maintaining relationships with members and the local community. In turn, you will receive a competitive remuneration package, workplace flexibility and continuous personal and professional development to advance your career progression. Additional to taking group training sessions, you have the freedom to run personal training sessions (outside of group training sessions) rent free.

**Main Duties of the Role**:
The main duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Managing and coordinating the operational aspects of the business.
- Maintain and improve systems to attract new memberships and coordinate efforts with local area marketing and advertising plans. Strive to increase membership net growth, increase gross revenue and commit to other monthly KPI’s.
- Report on sales performances.
- Establish links within the local community.
- Review member retention.
- Ensure you are meeting your member and team member needs at each stage of their journey so they can continue to engage with your gym and perform at their best.
- Ensure the club upholds the brand standards and expectations including safety, stock management, equipment standards and cleanliness.
- Shortlisting, hiring, onboarding, training and supervision of staff.
- Uphold the requirements for security and OH&S.
- When required - may undertake coaching, fitness instruction and training of members.

**Qualifications, education, experience, and abilities required**:

- Relevant Diploma qualification. Bachelor degree will be beneficial
- At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced gym/studio establishment. 4 years or more will be beneficial
- Must have experience managing a gym.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Have excellent teamwork and strong communication and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in sales and business development
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with managing social platforms and community management
- Understanding of day to day business operations
- Previous experience in Personal Training (preferred but not essential)
- Certificate III and IV in fitness (preferred but not essential)
- Flexibility and willingness to step outside the bounds of the role
- Creativity, drive and initiative
- Work well as part of a team

**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year
