Head Barista

We currently have an excellent opportunity available at Down the Rabbit Hole Cafe in Templestowe for an enthusiastic & motivated barista. Our venue operates for breakfast and lunch (no evenings).

To nail this role you will need to be passionate and a stand out behind the machine making exceptional specialty coffee. Previous experience as a Barista in a high volume café is essential. This role requires someone who can:

- Set up the equipment in the morning.
- Dial in your beans and get completely ready for service.
- Prepare and serve amazing coffee
- Offer our customers friendly service and knowledge of our products
- Make sure your work space is always sparkling clean
- Work within a team and have great communication skills
- Flexible rotating roster including weekend shifts
- An eye for detail, excellent personal presentation and a committed work ethic
- To exude a professional and confident communication style
- Strong customer service skills
