Rock Solid Stonework is seeking a motivated Apprentice Stonemason to join our small, family-oriented team

**About Us**: Rock Solid Stonework, based in Rockingham WA, is a family-owned business specialising in traditional stonemasonry, and we’re growing With expertise in natural stonework, stone cladding, brickwork, blockwork, and more, we take pride in delivering top-quality residential and commercial projects. Our diverse portfolio includes feature walls, retaining walls, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, water features, and other stunning creations.

**Position Overview**: As an Apprentice Stonemason with Rock Solid Stonework, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about stonemasonry or are keen to learn the trade. The majority of our projects are located South of the River, between Perth and Mandurah. The apprenticeship is hosted from Balga Tafe, with options for remote/online study between assessments.

**Key Requirements**:

- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Possession of (or ability to obtain) a white card.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (or working towards).
- PPE gear, including steel-cap boots and safety glasses.
- Keen attention to detail and an artistic eye.
- Openness to learning new skills and techniques
- Strong work ethic paired with a positive attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow directions.

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
