Our team provides face-to-face and remote support to small businesses across Australia, with a strong presence in branches and local communities. We pride ourselves on our deep connections, compelling propositions, and exceptional execution.
**Do work that matters**
We’re seeking expressions of interest from experienced Business Bankers who are passionate about supporting small businesses and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
As a Business Banker, you will:
- Originate and manage commercial lending solutions up to $1.25M, along with asset finance, merchant services, and everyday banking products.
- Engage proactively with customers to understand their business and personal needs, offering insights and solutions that support their goals.
- Represent CommBank within your local business community, building awareness of our business banking proposition and hosting educational events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen referral partnerships and enhance service delivery.
**What we’re looking for**
- Proven experience in commercial lending or B2B sales
- Home lending experience and sound financial analysis skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Passion for small business customers or experience running a small business
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation
- Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Cert IV in Banking Services or equivalent (preferred)
