**THE ROLE**

As a Assistant Gymnastics Coach, your key responsibilities will include:

- Timely set-up of gymnastics equipment and commencement of the class;
- Assisting the Coaches with teaching gymnastics through the use of suitable progressions and lesson plans in accordance with the YMCA's Mission Statement, Policies and Procedures and the requirements of Gymnastics Australia;
- Prepare gymnasts for testing or competition within the timeframe on the coaching plan;
- Assist with supervising children during warm up and ensure safety of all children.

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be considered for this position, you must meet the following selection criteria**:

- Gymnastics Coaching Qualifications - If you don't have them we can assist you to get one
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice experience in all aspects of gymnastics;
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates, or willing to obtain.
