We are seeking Forest Rangers A03 to support the Native Cypress Team that provides operational support to the Business Group. This role is offered with full-time hours on a 9 Month Contract.

**About the Role**
As a Forest Ranger, you will be responsible for the following:

- Assist in the preparation of sale proposals for designated forest products.
- Monitor sales of designated forest products including performance, associated planning.
- Undertake tree marking and measuring of native timber and forest products (where applicable).
- Monitor and assess the performance standards of clients and contractors.
- Liaise with Forest Products stakeholders including clients and their contractors, other Government agency representatives and members of the public.
- Assist Fire Management activities, including prescribed burning, top disposal and wildfire control and supervise heavy machinery operations. (as required)
- Maintain records and prepare reports.

**About You**

- Availability to travel for work.

**Desirable**
- Qualifications for the use of ATV and driving 4WDs will be highly regarded.
- Skills in the use of technology to create mapping and other GIS products.
