**About the role**

The teacher is responsible for the delivery of Foundation and Diploma Studies Programs, particuarly within the Diploma of Health Science at La Trobe College Australia. This includes lecturing, providing academic support to students and supervision and marking of assignments and exams.

**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:

- Tertiary qualifications in education and a relevant Nursing or Health Science discipline.
- Extensive experience teaching higher education diplomas in a university pathway program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and empathy for a multicultural environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of pathway programs and their articulation with university courses.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and initiate change.
- Demonstrated ability to work with changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
