Parent Helper

**Our Family**:

- We are looking for someone kind and responsible to help us with our two children (13 and 11 years old) weekly, three afternoons per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) from 3pm to 7pm. This care includes is to support our busy two-parent work schedules and kids' care after school finishes and school/sports logistics. Our children are 13yo/ yr8 (girl) and 11yo/ yr6 (boy). They are bright, active and clever kids who enjoy their sport (mainly oztag and soccer) and swimming. We also have a gorgeous Spoodle.

**Your Duties**:

- The role will involve: - Being at our home when the children arrive home from school;
- Being present while some homework is completed by the children; Limiting/ monitoring screen time;
- Driving or collecting one or both of them to / from school activities/sports in the Eastern Suburbs;
- Walking our dog Saltie (a gorgeous 3yo Spoodle) from our home or while waiting at sports training;
- Once home again, arranging the children to have their showers;
- Doing some dinner preparation and/or cooking/heating;
- Some tidying-up (yet not 'cleaning' as such). With advance notice, we may occasionally also require support looking after the kids on weeknights (later) and weekends. We may also need support during school holidays.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We are looking for someone kind and responsible yet fun, (sporty if possible - the kids are sporty kids), patient and kind. Our helper must be open-minded (we are two mums). It's essential you have your drivers licence and own car (or one you could use) and that you are a responsible and safe driver.
