**Status**:Temporary Contract (opportunities for 2026)

**Commencement Date**:Term 3, 2025

**Position Location**:Burgmann Anglican School, Forde Campus, Corner Francis Forde Boulevard and Hurrell Streets, Forde

**Line Management**: Responsible to the Head of Middle School and ultimately the Principal through the Year Level Team Leader and the Deputy Head of Middle School (Learning and Teaching) and Deputy Head of Middle School (Culture & Wellbeing).

**Duties**:

- Responsible for the pastoral care of a class of Middle School students
- Teach with a focus on developing higher order thinking skills
- Demonstrate a passion for effective teaching and learning
- Collaborate effectively with teaching colleagues
- Contribute effectively to curriculum development
- Liaise with students and parents
- Participate in the school’s co-curricular program which may include weekend activities
- Attend staff meetings and professional development
- Support the Christian ethos of an Anglican School
- Other duties as required

**Salary, Terms and Conditions**

The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and years of experience.
