Position Overview

Are you looking for a rewarding career in the dynamic world of container unloading? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Forklift Operators / Container Unloaders. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely unloading shipping containers. This position involves working in various weather conditions, including hot weather, and requires physical stamina to handle repetitive lifting and moving of heavy objects.

Key Responsibilities
- **Unload Shipping Containers**: Handle diverse products ranging from 5kg to 30kg.
- **Wrap Pallets Manually**: Ensure items are securely wrapped and ready for transportation.
- **Safety Adherence**: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- **Efficiency**: Work diligently to meet daily unloading targets.
- **Accurate Handling**: Ensure accurate handling and placement of unloaded items.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work with team members to achieve collective goals.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Keep the work environment clean and organised.
- **Sense of Urgency**: Operate with a strong sense of urgency to meet productivity goals.

**Requirements**:

- **Weather Resilience**: Ability to work in hot weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- **Physical Fitness**: Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects daily.
- **Work Ethic**: Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in container unloading or similar roles is desirable but not essential.
- **Licenses**: Current forklift license and experience are a bonus.
- **Transportation**: Own car is essential as work locations may vary.
