We're looking for an energetic and conscientious person to join our small and supportive team in an optical dispensing role. The role is diverse, including optical dispensing, customer service, administration and clinical assistance. In-house training will be provided to ensure your success in the role.

**Job Requirements**

Certificate IV qualifications (or equivalent industry experience) is required for this role. Your ability to provide a high level of personalised customer service will also be well placed on our team.

You will also need a good understanding and experience in:

- Customer service
- Optometry administration
- Spectacle and sunglasses fashion
- Computers
- Web browsers
- Text messages
- Facebook

**Purpose**

Your purpose on our team will be to provide outstanding optical dispensing services and interact with our clients in a positive and rewarding way. You’ll work to create a smooth process, from beginning to end, so that our customers enjoy their experience and interaction.

This optical dispensing job is a full scope optical dispensing position. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference working with quality niche products for all age groups. You'll work with leading, independent industry suppliers.

The role will include:

- Dispensing prescription optical appliances
- Participation in product mix and range planning
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Providing telephone and online customer service
- Making appointment bookings
- Processing payment transactions
- Providing general assistance to the Optometrists and practice manager.

**Further growth opportunities**

**Hours**

Full time - up to 38hr week. Rostered hours between Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
- No public holidays
- No weekends
- No late nights

**Start Date**

Flexible, from Jan 2025

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
