Dental Receptionist

**About the role**

We are currently looking for a part time experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone that possess a bright, positive attitude, compassionate and caring nature, is energetic in their approach to work and will have a natural ability to engage with patients and co-workers in a cheerful and professional manner.

**About you**

The successful applicant will be able to multitask in the practice and work closely with the clinical team, possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be committed to providing excellent patient care. You will play a key role towards the ongoing success of our practice.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**:

- Be the first point of contact for our patients
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
- Patient care from entry to the surgery to recall management
- General day to day running of the front office including processing payments using Eftpos & Hicaps

**Skills and experience**:

- Dental reception or chairside experience preferred
- Positive attitude and passionate about delivering high level of customer service
- Professional, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team player
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
