As Revenue Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Revenue Assurance Team to maximise Pathology revenue and ensure that it is billed in accordance with contractual agreements and complies with Commonwealth legislation for Medicare and Health Fund billing.You will be a part of the Healius Finance team, reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager and will work closely with the Revenue Team, Commercial, Operational, Clinical, Digital, IT, Data & Analytics and Finance teams to improve billing solution catered to the needs of our end customers while maximising Pathology’s revenue.**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Performing ongoing audits of both high volume and complex/high risk billing scenarios to ensure revenue is maximised within relevant guidelines
- Responding to external audits from Medicare, Private Health Insurers, and other payor groups
- Supporting the design, build and implementation on the new billing module within Healius Pathology’s LIS transformation project
- Identifying opportunities for revenue standardisation across different billing systems
- Auditing Xtend, Suspend and claiming errors and identify issues and trends
- Creating and maintain billing reference documentation for use by departments such as Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Collections and Master Data and train as required.
- Reporting and analysing revenue performance at a senior level
- Engaging stakeholders to obtain buy-in for implementation of audit recommendations and process changes

**What Type of Person Will Be Successful**
