NRW Civil and Mining now has an opportunity for a **Training & Competency Manager** to join the team in our Belmont Head Office reporting to the General Manager HSETQ. In this role; you will be accountable for managing the overall training function of the NRW Civil & Mining and Action Drill & Blast entities.
**In this position you will be responsible for but not limited to**:
- Overseeing the training function across all NRW and ADB locations and project sites.
- Ensuring high levels of training compliance across our sites.
- Support internal and external investigations and audits as required.
- Manage the development and maintenance of all training systems, documents and content.
- Oversee the design, development and delivery of successful training programs.
- Work collaboratively with the project teams and clients to ensure compliance and implementation of training process.
- Undertake training audits to ensure training and assessment practices meet national and client standards.
- Monitor training delivery quality, implement corrective actions and undertake proactive continuous improvement activities.
- Day to day management, development, and mentorship of training superintendents, supervisors and corporate training team.
**To be considered for this position; you will possess the following**:
- Relevant diploma or tertiary qualification - minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
- Previous experience in a similar role with strong leadership ability.
- Experience managing RTO accreditation.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the genuine ability to influence at multiple management levels.
- Experience working within the Civil and Mining sectors is desirable.
- Ability to travel to site and other entity locations.
