**Your new role**
In this role, you will provide support to our client, in an In-home Support Living arrangement.
- Support clients to build new connections in their community.
- Increase Community access and support in the community.
- Support, encourage and follow behaviour plan strategies and other guidelines provided by Allied Health professionals.
- Support client to keep and increase independence at home and in the community.
- Provide active support to clients with mental health illness
- Experience with behaviours of concern
- Help with domestic chores
For this position, we have a range of shifts available through out the week.
**What you will need to succeed**
You will need experience as a Mental Health Support Worker, delivering in-home services to clients with complex needs. You will also have demonstrated experience in dealing with a range of complex behaviours and are highly skilled to de-escalate challenging situations. Females are preferred.
You are a dedicated support worker with a genuine commitment to assist individuals reaching their goals and living their best life. You also need the following current documents:
- Certificate III or IV in individual support, aged care, disability, Mental Health or an Allied Health qualification
- Valid Mental Health First Aid (desirable)
- Valid NDIS Worker Check
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian drivers licence and your own insured vehicle.
- Covid Vaccination Certificate
