**Description**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with our national client as they are seeking a Food Safety Specialist to join their team on a permanent full time basis.
Based in Brisbane and WFH, this role will see you travelling from Byron Bay to Cairns, conducting onsite internal/GMP audits and facilitating onsite external third-party audits across 54 outlets.
The majority of outlets are based in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and flights/accommodation will be covered by the company for the FNQ outlets. Accommodation will be provided for the Gold Coast and Byron Bay visits.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and adhere to GMP Audit schedule
- Conduct regular GMP audits of the food kiosks
- Forward reports and NCR’s onto Quality Team and Franchisee in a timely

manner
- Conduct re-training as a result of any non-conformances raised
- Close out non-conformances by re-visiting the food kiosks and assessing

staff for compliance
- Conduct 6 monthly environmental swabbing of food kiosks
- Ensure results are within specification
- Conduct internal investigations based on customer complaints
- Conduct induction training for all new Franchisees in the company’s Food

Safety Program

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology or Science related degree are

highly desired
- Demonstrated auditing skills and experience
- Ability to work unsupervised and exercise independence to problem solve

and make decisions
- Sound knowledge and understanding of HACCP, GMP principles and

retailer standards
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work effectively under tight

deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under tight

deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to

adapt communication style for all levels of the business
