Nanny for Neurodivergent 6 Year Old

**Our Family**:

- We have three children 3, 6 and 10. We need assistance with school pick up, activities, meal prep and light clean up. Whilst the role involved looking after the three, its to focus on the 6 year old who is adhd and possibly on the spectrum. He needs one on one attention alot of the time and is often physical with his siblings and needs to be separated and distracted. I make sure I am available and in close range so that when an issue arises I can help. I run my own business as does my husband and need support in keeping a peaceful house and allowing my husband and I to work closer to 5pm. We are light hearted, fun, cooky and casual and see this person as someone who can be long term and remain close to the family.

**Your Duties**:

- Start at the house and do dinner prep. Pick kids up from school. Bring them home and set up some activities. Feed the kids dinner and tidy up. I usually come home around dinner time and work in to assist in bath/shower time. Homework etc Chaperone for the 10 year old to activities if needed.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- Our ideal caregiver has experience with disability work. Has firm and loving boundaries and isn't triggered by difficult or confronting behavior (loud noises, crying, dysregulation, swearing). Must have an open mind in regards to gender norms (my son dresses as a girl etc) Ideal caregiver has patience and a desire to connect with the 6 year old and build a trusting relationship to help share some of the burden. Initiates activities with the kids after school or during school holidays and believes in mínimal technology etc. Communicates honestly and kindly with all of us. Is reliable and trustworthy.
