**VISION**
The SRS Manager plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment for residents requiring low-level support, including those with disabilities/ mental health issues. The vision of the role is to foster a home -like atmosphere where residents are treated with dignity and respect and are supported to live independently as possible.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee daily operations of the SRS facility, ensuring quality care and support are provided in line with person-centred principles.
- Lead and manage staff rosters, performance, and compliance with training and professional standards.
- Coordinate resident admissions, assessments, transfers, hospitalization and discharge processes.
- Ensure compliance with SRS regulations, audits, care standards, and policies.
- Maintain effective systems for medication management, progress notes, and incident reporting.
- Foster collaborative relationships with residents, families, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders/DSWs who are working with residents at the facility, on-site and off-site.
- Working with management to remove the requirement for onsite cook, with potential for cooking to be outsourced within a practical timeframe, without negatively impacting the quality of food provided.
- Ensuring RAT/PCR tests are carried out where required.
- Handling COVID cases/outbreaks in a manner that is consistent with DHHH /State Guidelines.
- Promote inclusion, dignity, independence, and choice for all residents.
- Manage resident support plans, behaviour management strategies, and medical coordination.
- Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, infection control, and emergency response planning.
- Support recruitment and induction processes in collaboration with HR.
**ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma or higher qualification in Community Services, Aged Care, Disability, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a residential care setting.
- Strong knowledge of SRS legislation, service quality standards, and person-centred care.
- Excellent written and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and current National Police Check.
- Evidence of right to work in Australia (VISA or Residency)
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
- Penalty rates

- Australia (preferred)
