***About the Role**
- Trusted counsel to the Mayor
- Provide Executive support for the Mayor and Councilors, coordinating activities, managing correspondence and preparing responses for the Mayor.
- Support the coordination of training requirements and opportunities to ensure effective professional development for Councillors
- Provide effective communication and coordination of information requirements, meeting requests, declarations, documents, EAP or IT assistance for Councillors
- Lead initiatives on behalf of the Mayor or Corporate Executive Office, working independently on projects from conception to completion.
- Provide pro-active and insightful executive support to the Mayor that strengthens Council’s reputation in the handling of complex and sensitive matters.

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or significant relevant experience providing executive support to a senior position;
- Strong organisational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail;
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills
