**Employment Type**:Part-time, Temporary 12 month contract with possibility of extension and/ or permanency.
**Classification**: Health Professional Level 3/ Psychologist Level 3 (PN 60549)
**Note**: This role will be filled at either Health Professional Level 3 or Psychologist Level P3 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
**Salary for HP3**: $109,543 - $117,878 (Plus 11.5% Super)
**Salary for P3**: $120,806 - $131,180 (Plus 11.5% Super)

**About the Role**:
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) sits within the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug division of CHS. CAMHS provides assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 years who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues.

The Childhood Early Intervention Program (CEIP) is a specialist team within CAMHS with a focus on mental health well-being and early intervention for primary school aged children. The CEIP is a multidisciplinary team that work in collaboration with the Education and Community Services Directorates.

CEIP deliver both group-based intervention and support to children and families within ACT primary schools as well as mental health in-reach through co-facilitation of groups and Emotional and Behavioral Wellbeing Clinics, and secondary consultation, to the Child and Family Centers.

The role contributes to the success of CHS through collaboration with various schools to develop and deliver services to ensure the consistent early detection, treatment and prevention of emerging severe social, emotional and behavioural difficulties in primary school aged children.

- Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the _Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011_ is required.
- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
- Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
