**Primary Responsibilities**:

- The full range of responsibilities to investment banking at the Associate level
- Work closely with various sector and product teams, execute buy-side and sell-side M&A and debt and equity capital markets transactions (cross-border and domestic, public and private) and provide strategic advice to corporate and private capital clients.
- Assist in drafting and preparation of client presentations, board reports, Information Memoranda, Prospectuses, and other client material
- Participating and supporting transaction execution, due diligence, execution and negotiation
- Work closely with senior professionals to conduct financial analyses including financial statement and valuation analyses; assisting in development of financial models; company and industry research
- Support corporate finance transactions, which include M&A, equity issuance, IPO, leveraged finance and other debt market transactions

**Required Background**:

- Bachelor of Commerce or similar degree level qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in corporate finance and strategy, with a strong preference for specific investment banking experience
- Experience would ideally include executing both sell-side and buy-side M&A (including cross-border and domestic, public and private); preparing client presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; performing financial valuation analysis and building financial models; conducting industry and product research; analysing corporate and financial information; participating in execution of M&A and financing transactions.

- Strong understanding of corporate and investment finance
- Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in aspects of work product
- A resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player
- Client-first orientation with capability in managing multiple stakeholders on transactions
- Supporting, mentoring and developing junior staff
- Deep understanding of financial statements and financial modeling
- Solid understanding of M&A processes and ideally have end-to-end experience in project managing and executing transactions
