**Laboratory Technician - Construction Materials Testing**

Hanson have an opportunity for a **Laboratory Technician** to join the team at our NATA Accredited Laboratory based at the scenic **Bass Point Quarry, NSW**.

The successful applicant will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safety driven. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the construction industry in a **full-time technical role** within one of Australia's leading construction materials suppliers.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Perform quarry material testing - Aggregate & Soil
- Carry out equipment calibrations
- Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained
- Assist the technical team

**This role is a great fit for you if you**:

- Display excellent Health and Safety behaviours
- Have strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal)
- Are physically fit
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- Are available to work weekends and overtime (when required)
- Maintain a professional work ethic
- Have previous experience as a Laboratory Technician (Construction Materials Testing preferred but nut essential)
- Display an ability to take ownership and manage your own area of responsibility without close supervision
- Are customer focused and have excellent attention to detail
