In this role, you’ll provide technical, behavioural, and leadership coaching to front-line management in health, safety, and environment, and deliver essential training.

**About the position**:

- **Compliance & Guidance**: Ensure adherence to WesTrac’s HSE management system providing coaching, mentoring to the Leaders and workgroups on WesTrac safety requirements.
- **Incident Management**: Support and facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions.
- **Safety Promotion**: Promote health and safety policies, analyse hazards, and develop and review control measures are effective.
- **Training & Communication**: Identify training needs, provide Toolbox meeting information, and assist with on-site delivery of WesTrac Safety Training Programs.
- **Field Leadership**: Attend Pre-Shift Instruction (PSI) meetings, promote HSE awareness, demonstrate safety leadership

**About You**:

- A Cert IV in WHS or equivalent
- Strong experience in a similar role with leadership traits and a continuous drive to influence positive changes in safety culture
- A team player with the ability to work independently on a range of projects and initiatives that support stakeholder needs
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication (interpersonal, written and verbal) and public speaking skills
- Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite)
- Experience in IT and other WHSMS software and databases
- ICAM (or similar methodology) Lead Investigator course and experience in root causal analysis
- Previous experience developing and facilitating training to large and diverse groups would be advantageous
