Vincentia High School is a vibrant co-educational, comprehensive; community school located in Jervis Bay on the South coast of New South Wales with student population of 1002 students and approximately 150 staff. Sixteen percent of our students identify as Aboriginal and supported by a range of cultural and wellbeing programs including Clontarf. Our fifteen support classes cater for students with a range of disabilities including intellectual, physical, mental health and emotional disturbance. Vincentia High School is an important member of the Bay and Basin Learning Community serving the educational needs of students from our local primary schools of Vincentia, Huskisson, Tomerong, St Georges Basin, Sanctuary Point, Sussex Inlet and Jervis Bay.

Demonstrated capacity to lead the Mathematics faculty in inclusive teaching practices that meets the needs of a diverse range of student abilities.
A visible leader with capacity to work collaboratively as part of the school executive team to drive sustained improvement through evidence-based teaching initiatives related to the school’s strategic improvement plan.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a culture of high expectations, and creative thinking across the faculty.
- Demonstrated understanding, and ability to authentically implement the Aboriginal Education Policy._
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
