Our Waitara Day Services provides an interactive and safe environment for our participants to focus on their goals and skill development, whilst encouraging independence where possible.

**About the role**:
The Activity Support Partner deliver’s person-centred care and activities to participants at our Waitara day program. You will be implementing participant’s goals to ensure that their activities incorporate what is important for them and what is important to them. You will be providing active support which can include personal care, mobility support and more.

Our main hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm with the potential to work occasionally from 3pm to 6pm.

**Duties**:

- Interacting positively with participants, families, carers, and stakeholders.
- Undertaking all required aspects of participant’s personal care.
- Making decisions using sound judgement to support and advocate for the participant.
- Accompanying participants on excursions or outings.
- Assisting the participants to implement their goals.
- Ensuring familiarity with the participant’s profile and always carry their emergency plan.

**About you**:

- Experience or willingness to work with vulnerable people of all ages.
- NDIS workers check and completion of NDIS orientation.
- A current valid NSW Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Own a personal smart phone.
- Computer literacy.
