Eap Teacher

Part-time EAP teacher position available at a RTO campus in the south of Brisbane.
We are a growing RTO delivering nationally recognised VET qualifications in English, business, automotive skills, cookery and hospitality, and other disciplines.
We are looking for a suitable person to fill the role of EAP teacher.
**Duties**
- Prepare for, deliver and test EAP courses offered by the RTO
- Participate in course validation and moderation
- Mark, correct and provide feedback on students’ assignments and assessments
- Maintain students’ attendance
- Generate student reports
- Manage resources effectively and efficiently
- Provide general academic support as directed by the Academic Manager
- Undertake and participate in other activities/projects/duties as directed.
**Essential Selection Criteria**
- Expert level of General and Academic English
- Certificate IV or above in TESOL, or equivalent
- Bachelor degree or above
- Understanding of student needs and passionate in student support
- High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in dealing with international students.
The position is scheduled to commence immediately.

- Unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Willingness to obtain a Police Check
- Currently residing within normal commuting distance of Slacks Creek, QLD.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
