**Specialist Youth Workers - Education Settings (Navigator) - Based in Shepparton and Wallan**

We currently have positions available for Specialist Youth Workers in our Education Settings program. One role is based in our Shepparton Office working full-time on a fixed-term contract until 31/12/2026. The second role is a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract based in our Wallan Office.

These positions involve coaching and mentoring young people with the aim of increasing their wellbeing, resilience, self-efficacy and social skills. This will be done via individual case coordination, group-work programs and the provision of information and supported referral. In addition, support will be provided to young people who are disengaged from school or who are at risk of not making a successful transition to further education, training or employment. This will be through the DET’s Navigator program.

It is essential that you hold a **minimum Diploma level qualification in a relevant field** and have experience and knowledge in the youth services field, particularly outreach and case management models.
