**About the Role**

Are you passionate about crafting wholesome meals and being part of a lively, family-focused environment? We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable **Kitchen Hands** to join our opening team As a Kitchen Hand at Little Amigos, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and assist the kitchen team during busy periods. We have a variety of shifts on offer - weekend availability is preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sweeping, mopping, and rubbish disposal
- Assist with food preparation: washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Prepare simple items such as salads, sandwiches, toast, and beverages
- Weigh, transfer, and check incoming supplies and kitchen stock
- Set up trays for food and beverage service
- Follow kitchen safety and hygiene protocols at all times

**About You**:

- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen (preferred).
- Available to work weekends (preferred).
- Previous experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team is an advantage.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Have Working with Children Check
