Installer And/or Fabricator

Opportunity for experienced handyperson/joiner/carpenter to join our fabrication and installation team.

If you want variety - then there is a work available at our factory fabricating our screens, and at customer sites doing installs and servicing. If you have a preference for one or the other, we can likely accommodate this.

As a fabricator, you are on your feet, handling long pieces of aluminium and following cutting sheets and assembly instructions to create a high quality custom made screen. You usually get to choose the radio station as are often working on your own.

As an installer, you are liaising with our wonderful customers to install or service a screen for their window, door or outdoor area. Great customer focus is needed for this one, as is a valid drivers licence. A lot of our work comes from word or mouth referrals, and we pride ourselves on our happy customers.

In either role, attention to detail, pride in your work and ability to follow written/verbal job instruction are needed. Commercial experience in using small hand tools is a must. Familiarity with the window and door industry is a major bonus.

Employment will be on a casual/part-time basis 2-3 days per week. If you already have your ABN, the installation work might be possible as a sub-contractor.

We are a small friendly company who are expanding to meet customer demand for our products. We pay both your wages and super each week and do our best to be flexible according to your family or other commitments.
