A receptionist is a professional who plays a supportive or facilitative role in the workplace. The nature
**Key Task areas include**:
- Answer telephone calls to take messages from clients
- Ensure that messages are passed onto the appropriate person
- Receive walk-in customers and guests and make them comfortable
- Faxing, scanning, mailing and filing documents
- Copy, file and maintain digital or paper records
- Maintaining the office space and re-stocking office supplies
- Collecting and distribution of the mail.
- Preform other duties as requested.
**Key selection criteria**
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- computer skills proficient in Microsoft Excel competencies, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and CRM systems
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently, use initiative, establish priorities and work to tight or competing deadlines.
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Confident learning new computer systems
- Established capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a team member and to undertake work independently and with supervision
- Demonstrated capability to contribute to a positive workplace culture and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $1.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
