An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen to head up the dynamic **Front Office** team here at The Colony, the newest luxury accommodation in the Swan Valley.
Located in the heart of the Swan Valley, The Colony at Mandoon Estate provides a luxurious base to explore and discover the Swan Valley for both the business and leisure traveller. The Colony offers 32 boutique rooms overlooking the beautiful Swan River.
Mandoon Estate offers several dining options, including the marquee restaurant - Wild Swan. It is a world class Winery and Brewery and part of the Ultimate Winery Experience collection of Australia.

**Requirements**:
The Colony is now seeking an experienced **Front Office Manager** to join its established team on a full-time basis, providing full day/afternoon shifts across 7 days a week, typically from 7:30am until 7:00pm.

The position is a hands on and autonomous role involving all aspects of Front Office including department oversight, yield management, OTAs, rosters, loyalty and up-selling programs, accounts receivable, group reservations, end of month reporting, package set-up, reception, reservations, guest services and administration. Including providing friendly, bespoke customer service in responding to accommodation enquiries, promoting the business to achieve accommodation sales, processing reservations, assisting leisure, wedding, corporate and conference guests, and ensuring the smooth running of reception across busy check-in and check-out periods. Clear and precise communication, as well as working co-operatively across departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Event Sales when the need arises is a MUST

**About You**:
The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for customer service, strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and time management skills, a sense of personal responsibility and maturity, experience with Front Office booking systems, strong attention to detail, working diligently to deadlines, exposure to leading small-medium sized teams, and a high standard of personal presentation.

Previous front office/reception management or supervisory experience is essential, ideally in a boutique hospitality/travel/tourism environment within Western Australia, as is the ability to work across 7-days.

Experience and knowledge of CMS GuestCentrix Property Management System, Levart, POS, Visionline, full Microsoft Suite including Sharepoint and other guest services systems will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work rotating shifts throughout the week, on weekends and public holidays.
