Maintenance Fitter

Elf Farm Supplies are a world-leading producer of premium Mushroom Compost. You will be joining a wholly owned Australian company established in 1981 that has grown to be the largest agricultural enterprise in the Hawkesbury, as well as being the largest composting facility in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Business has strong growth on the horizon an in readiness we are seeking to hire 2 x fulltime Maintenance Fitters to join the Maintenance Reliability Team here at the Mulgrave Site.
- Excellent Safety attitude with regards to adhering to Site WHS and Operational rules.
- Solid background in a Manufacturing / Production industry.
- Previous experience in the industry or similar large scale agricultural / farming operation is highly desirable.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and diagnostics / problem solving skills and curious by nature.
- Ability to work in a paced environment, adaptive with changing priorities with a clear understanding that down-time is the enemy.
- Good communication skills, approachable, understanding to Departmental needs.
- The ability to work collaboratively with in a diverse team.
- Open to flexible work arrangements including rostered public holidays and weekends as required.
- A current driver’s license.

**Experiences and skills in performing**:

- Scheduled maintenance and attending to breakdowns.
- Mechanical fault finding.
- Dismantling and removing mechanical components for repair or maintenance.
- Working on Pneumatics / Hydraulics / Belt conveyors / Process control and automation/ Machinery / Forklifts / Scissors Lifts etc..
- Mig and Tig welding.
- General fabrication skills.
- Forklift / EWP, other lifting tickets and licences would be highly desirable.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mulgrave, NSW 2756: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Australian Driver Licence (preferred)
