The Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Customer service including welcoming patients into the Centre, collecting and entering
- patient details, answering telephone calls and enquiries, scheduling appointments when
- required, and Reception duties
- Ad hoc administrative duties and supporting the Practice Manager with day-to-day
- operations
- Opening and closing the Medical Centre
- Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
- Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
- Assist with training and mentoring junior reception staff.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a General Practice (GP) setting
- Previous team leadership experience within a customer service role
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and detail Oriented
- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Pracsoft/MedTech Medical Director advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Medicare billing, batching and workers' compensation processes
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Initiative, ambition and ownership and high standard of presentation
