An exciting **permanent opportunity** available now to join our professional and committed team in **Liverpool NSW** We are seeking individuals with a background in **_Employment Services_** or **_Disability Employment_** interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector across **Liverpool NSW** area. As a Job Placement Consultant, you will actively work to support people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment and live the best life they can You will undertake a variety of activities including: - Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce; - Varied client groups for variety in your workday and caseload; - Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence; - Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment; - Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote and regional areas which in turn, provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace; - Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations; - Assist in developing written Labour Market Research reports and brokering vocational programs that support return to work outcomes. **Qualifications** As a Successful Job Placement Consultant will possess: - Have a passion for **Employment Services or Disability Employment** keen to diversify your knowledge, skill set and portfolio. **_Experience in employment services, case management, disability employment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of worker's compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation;_**: - Drive, energy and professionalism, with a personable approach and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, grow services and build relationships; - Flexible work hours arrangement**:_part-time 3-4 days and full-time opportunities_** are available; - A strong verbal and written communicator; - Excellent time management skills, be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment; - Excellent administrative skills, competent with MS Office and MS Outlook; - Have the confidence and initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes; - Bilingual/multilingual is desirable eg.
