Around Southeast QLD, we deliver Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) projects funded by the State Government to support disadvantaged job seekers to enter or re-enter the workforce. These services coupled with our unique sports centric activities assist people to connect with their communities in meaningful and sustainable ways.

**About the Role**

Based in Caboolture, you will supervise a team of up to 11 full time trainees undertaking a Certificate 1 in Construction delivered by our partner RTO, Australian Skills Group. You will guide and mentor your team to develop their skills, confidence and motivation to enter a trade career, by overseeing all community-based projects whilst passing on your trade skills and expertise. You will focus heavily on OHS and industry based best practice. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met. You will work closely with the Project Coordinator to identify individual’s barriers to work and learning and provide tailored support where possible. This is a unique and exciting role that makes a real difference in people’s lives within the Caboolture region.

**About You**

To be considered for this role you will need:

- Trade qualified in Construction (or similar industry experience) including White Card.
- Ability to mentor & supervise people facing barriers to work and to communicate effectively and respectfully with diverse groups.
- Strong local employer connections and ability to develop community stakeholder relationships.
- Enthusiastic self-starter able to meet deadlines when completing projects and tasks.
- Flexibility to respond effectively to changing priorities and a willingness to improvise.
- Commitment to the values of the organisation.
- Ability to work harmoniously and constructively in a team setting with mínimal supervision.

It is a condition of employment at Reclink Australia that staff hold a positive National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check and are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Proof of this will be required at the shortlisting stage.

**Salary**: $1,323.73 - $1,531.67 per week
