A multi-faceted role within South Australia's top tier hospitals, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Royal Adelaide Hospital as part of an innovative and dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing the care of all patients requiring the services of the Department of Anaesthesia, in consultation with the responsible Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. At the time of commencing the role, you will need to have completed the Final Fellowship Examination of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, as well as the ANZCA requirements of Advanced Training, or holds an equivalent qualification. You will contribute to the provision of an Anaesthesia Service within the objectives and philosophies of Royal Adelaide Hospital, and actively contribute to continuous quality improvement in the interests of effective and efficient patient care and with a commitment to clinical teaching. The Royal Adelaide Hospital is South Australia’s largest trauma hospital, and offers a diverse complex clinical presentation and supportive work environment. You will be eligible to be registered with the Medical Board of Australia, and have a minimum of 18 months of clinical anaesthesia experience. You will demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high quality professional services, and be enthusiastic in your participation in all departmental professional activities. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. You will be capable of maintaining a strong spirit of cooperation with all co-workers while retaining a primary focus on the provision of patient care.
