**YOUR DREAM OPPORTUNITY**
An incredible opportunity exists for a Payroll Officer to join on a **12-month Fixed Term Contract.** As part of the People & Culture team, you will be accountable for providing support to the payroll team in all stages of the **employee life cycle**including processing weekly payroll in Aust & NZ, administration tasks, standard & adhoc reporting, producing financial journals, managing payroll triage system and so much more
Get excited to:
- Collate, check and follow up all relevant documents for new starters
- Process initial new employee setup, employee changes and terminations
- Coordinate and organize employee termination process
- Electronic filing and archiving of documents as required
- Other duties as reasonably directed
**ABOUT YOU**
You have previous experience in payroll, accounts receivable or bookkeeping and are confident with Microsoft Excel and Micropay. You pride yourself on your natural ability to be organised and can multitask with pinnacle attention to detail.
**THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU CAN OFFER US**
- Relevant discipline in finance/accounting/bookkeeping
- 2-3 years experience in Payroll
- Micropay experience
- The ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
