Our client is looking for an Wearhouse Logistics Officer, the initial contract is for 12 months with a possibility of an extension or conversion. We are looking for a professional warehouse person to add to our very stable and growing logicistic operations team. The role:

- The Wearhouse Logistics Officer will be responsible to maintain and supervise the client's Warehouse
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading, and distribution of goods into the physical and system environments.
- Ensure incoming inventory is inspected to quality control specifications
- Monitor and maintain stock against inventory levels
- Maintain the Inventory Management system including accurate records and coordinate stock counts
- Provide expertise and knowledge to improve the operation of the warehouse and control the flow/costs of stock.
- Participate and contribute to the identification of issues impacting the performance and integrity of the warehouse
- Provide technical knowledge to implement innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet or exceed warehouse coordination
- Ensure that the appropriate Australian standards, policies, OH&S Storage & Handling processes, governance and standards are adhered to at all times
- Recognise and suggest continuous improvements to internal processes, systems and technologies relating to warehouse supervision and coordination.
- Work Location is Keilor East

**Requirement**:

- Valid Driver's license
- Valid Forklift license
- Experience in inventory/warehouse coordination/supervision
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to determine priorities, schedule works and work within critical time constraints
- Ability to analyse situations and escalate issues to relevant areas
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
