**The Opportunity**:
CSL is recruiting for a Utilities Operator to join our Broadmeadows site. The primary role of the Utilities Department is to provide a reliable source of Utilities products to our Manufacturing Operations.

To support this, we are looking for a Utilities Operator who will ensure supply of services to our processing areas from the relevant utility systems [Reagent Systems (corrosives and flammables), Ethanol Distillation Column, Centralised Special Waters Systems].

**The Role**:
As part of the Utilities team:

- You'll manage and operate the relevant systems to meet the requirements of the manufacturing process
- You'll maintain the supply of chemicals to relevant Utilities areas across the site
- Your role will ensure the safe operation and isolation of relevant systems, observing statutory OH&S procedures and site procedures
- You will co-ordinate the ordering, receipt and processing of bulk chemicals before release to the Manufacturing Facilities
- As part of your responsibilities in this important role, you'll report spills, defects or abnormalities in the plant and equipment to prevent hazardous situations developing

**Your skills and experience**:

- Completed VCE or equivalent
- 2 or more years experience in plant operation or maintenance in a large bulk storage, pharmaceutical or chemical processing facility
- Sound mechanical aptitude
- Exposure to computerised maintenance management systems
