**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to help manage our warehouse in Artarmon, Sydney. You will be a member of our small but valued Workplace Team, however, due to the location you would be working fairly autonomously on a day to day basis.

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensure effective use of space in premises for warehouse storage
- Liaise with Workplace Manager - Labs & Storage, Australia to ensure that the premises are maintained and repaired
- Report all reactive and preventative maintenance in premises to Workplace Manager activities, modification projects, with coordination of contractors on site
- Report any issues with security processes, including access systems and alarms, issuing access keys/passes/codes
- Contractor & visitor management, site safety & inductions
- Comply with all warehouse legislation, codes of practice and Australian Standards
- Help with issues raised in HSE audits to ensure safety of warehouses
- Work with Workplace Manager, HSE team members and Business Group specialists to assist in the implementation of safety specific requirements of warehouses, and associated equipment
- Provide support with the shipping, receiving, logging, handling, storage and disposal of samples
- Request any additional storage racks and other (non-technical) equipment required
- Ordering of premises operating supplies, such as stationery, janitorial stock, office equipment and other consumables in line with WSP procurement process

**What we’ll love about you**:

- Qualifications relevant to the position (or relevant experience) which include driving licence, manual handling experience and familiarity with logistics
- An understanding of mechanical and field equipment and associated working environments
- Computer literacy with familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs and Procurement software
- Proactively participates and assists others in team situations and on a one to one basis
- Exercises sound judgement and utilises skills to achieve positive outcomes
- Exercises sound judgment and work independently with supporting levels of supervision
- Prioritises workloads to effectively perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner

**_ This role may have some manual tasks such as lifting objects on to or off shelves etc which will require the pysical ability to do so as part of the role._**
