For 20 years, our client has been one of the largest independent dairy companies in Australia, supplying fresh milk and yoghurt products to local and overseas markets.

Reporting to the General Manager, the appeal in this key appointment is leading the Quality Assurance function whilst also demonstrating your ability in assisting the New Product Development function. A bachelor’s degree in food science, dairy technology, or a related field, and experience in quality assurance, preferably in the dairy industry, is a requisite. You will also be instrumental in the choice and upgrade of reporting systems to new digitized report formats.

Strong knowledge of dairy processing, quality control methodologies, and relevant regulatory standards is essential in developing and implementing quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. To this end you will be required to analyze data and generate reports on quality metrics, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality.
