**What You Will Be Doing**

The Crisis Assessment Treatment Team (CATT) provides community based comprehensive assessment service providing assessment and home treatment to clients requiring acute mental health support. The CATT conducts face-to-face holistic assessments in our Frankston, Mornington and Rosebud community clinics as well as in the client’s home.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership and governance. The Clinical Manager will also assist the Operational Manager and Program Manager in developing, maintaining and evaluating specialist programs within the CATT service.
The role will also contribute towards an appropriately skilled workforce by providing mentoring and role modelling, particularly to junior clinicians or recent recruits. The Clinical Manager will have a focus on acute community mental health care supporting development to address priority issues within the team which are related to vulnerable and high-risk consumers presenting with high level needs.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
- RPN ONLY: Post graduate qualification in Mental Health or specialist undergraduate Mental Health program
- Minimum of 5 years varied experience in Senior Positions within the mental health field in both acute and community mental health settings
- Demonstrated significant problem-solving skills that require considerable understanding and interpretation of facility and departmental policy.
- Vast clinical experience and knowledge in Community Mental Health settings.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain clinical programs
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert clinical consultancy and dissemination of key messages across a range of key internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership within mental health with proven ability to mentor and develop the mental health nursing workforce within a coaching framework
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of professional autonomy and independent practice.
- Advanced decision-making skills.
