Pm Transport Allocator

**The Role**

We are seeking a reliable, committed Transport Allocator with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. You will be required to plan, direct and schedule the night deliveries and pickups of our medium size fleet running into major DCs and storage facilities.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Manage drivers and subcontractors work allocation
- Manage fatigue and compliance of drivers / subcontractors
- Plan and schedule workload for PM Fleet
- Communicate delays and problems to management as required
- Perform your tasks with safety in mind and highlight any areas of concern.
- Pro-actively identify issues and discrepancies as a priority and attempt to resolve.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times, building relationships with key contacts and drivers.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are allocated and effectively manage drivers to achieve optimum efficiencies.
- Handover to the AM allocator effectively

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in FMCG would be advantageous
- Must have a current truck license
- Min 2 years local transport allocation experience required
- Willingness to work weekends in peak periods
- Permanent role

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pemulwuy, NSW 2145: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Allocation: 2 years (preferred)
