**About Us**:
We are a customer focused team supplying podiatry shoes to the community. With two locations, our clinics are managed by professionally trained staff with experience in fitting problematic feet with the correct shoe. We have a small team of dedicated, experienced personnel who have been providing specialist footwear to the Perth community for 25 years. We are currently seeking an organised and experienced **Bookkeeper** to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can work within a team and be independent, managing their own schedule and deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using **QuickBooks** software
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and lodge **BAS statements** and ensure **GST compliance**:
- Handle **payroll** processing, including superannuation and leave entitlements
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end/year-end close
- Liaise with external accountants and relevant government bodies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
**Requirements**:
- Preferred experience as a bookkeeper using **QuickBooks**, however training is available
- Solid understanding of **GST obligations** and **BAS preparation**:
- Knowledge of **payroll legislation**, Single Touch Payroll and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadline
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
