An exciting opportunity exists within our company for an enthusiastic 1st year apprentice/trades assistant for Furniture Making at Bywater Design, located in North Brisbane, Boondall.
Be a part of a team that designs and makes high quality timber furniture, repairs and restores all facets of timber furniture as well as teaching fellow woodworking enthusiasts.
You will learn from master craftsman, be able to work as a part of an enthusiastic crew that thrives on a job well done.
Yes you will be challenged, but at the end of the day you will be the best version of yourself.

**To be a part of our team you will need to have the following**:
**Must Have**:

- Enthusiasm in bucket loads and an interest in woodcraft and furniture making
- Ability to work hard and not be afraid of getting dirty
- Drivers licence
- A willingness to start from the ground up and learn
- The ability to be a part of a team
- Be comfortable with lifting heavy items at times
- 100% reliability
- Monday - Friday availability

This will be an excellent opportunity for the right person to join our hard-working team and gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support throughout your apprenticeship.

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Boondall, QLD 4034: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
