**About us**
IHG has opened its newly built full-service upscale hotel - Crowne Plaza Hobart. The hotel is managed by Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) and owned by Tasmanian locals. The 235 room hotel offers a gymnasium, 9 versatile meeting rooms, and 2 restaurants and bars.

Core Restaurant and Bar celebrates Tasmania's amazing produce with each dish telling a story of land and sea, and the people who make the most of it. The Deck is our outdoor bar on Level 4 - the roof of Myer This is where you can rug up in the outdoors with mulled cider and wood-fired pizzas and enjoy the views of Kunanyi through all the seasons.

**Your day to day**

Crowne Plaza Hobart can offer you an internship full of exciting and rewarding possibilities across a variety of departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Concierge, Culinary & more.

**What we need from you**
You'll need to be studying at an approved institution and depending on your course requirements and your area of interest, you‘ll either focus on a specific role, or rotate between departments. You'll be assigned a dedicated mentor and also have the opportunity to be involved in a project making a direct impact to the hotel's performance.

Through your employment, you may have the opportunity to experience other IHG Hotels & Resorts. On successful completion of your internship/industry placement, you'll be guaranteed employment within IHG *Subject to satisfactory performance. You'll earn yourself Fast-Track entry to our Future Leader EMBARK and Aspire assessment centres if you choose to pursue that pathway.
